The Story Behind Sylvest
Sylvest was born from my own experience of the challenges facing Deal Sourcers in the UK property market.
After enrolling in a property investment course, I discovered deal sourcing and began sourcing property opportunities alongside my established career in recruitment. Having spent many years connecting people with the right opportunities, it felt like a natural extension of what I already knew.
Within just four weeks, I sourced five strong opportunities. I had been told that investors would be provided through an established network of more than 50,000 investors, yet not a single investor came forward.
Determined to find another route, I began promoting deals through social media. I gained some traction, but quickly discovered a fragmented process with little structure, limited transparency and conversations that often went nowhere.
That experience became the inspiration for Sylvest.
I began asking a simple question: what if Deal Sourcers had a dedicated marketplace to professionally showcase their opportunities, while Investors could browse structured property listings and choose the opportunities they wanted to explore further?
That idea became Sylvest. A property introduction marketplace designed to create a more structured, transparent and trusted way for Deal Sourcers and Property Investors to connect.
The name Sylvest was inspired by my late father, Sylvester, who invested in property alongside his engineering career. His entrepreneurial spirit and belief in property helped shape my own journey.
Today, my ambition is simple: to make property introductions more professional, transparent and accessible for both Deal Sourcers and Investors.
