The Story Behind Sylvest
Sylvest was born from a frustrating but familiar experience in the UK property world.
After enrolling in a property investment course, I discovered deal sourcing and immediately got to work. I was told I just had to find deals, then they would handle the investors, and we’d split the fees 50/50.
Within 4 weeks, I sourced 5 strong deals. Despite the promise of access to a network of “50,000+ investors,” not a single investor showed up. It quickly became clear this was just clever marketing!
I tried posting deals on social media and found some traction, but the process was messy to say the least. I experienced ghosting, no due diligence, and zero structure.
That’s when the idea for Sylvest came to life.
What if Deal Sourcer’s could list for free, and Investors could browse pre-screened opportunities, only paying a small introduction fee to connect?
Named in memory of my late father Sylvester, who invested in property alongside his engineering career, Sylvest is built to bring transparency, structure, and trust back to the UK deal sourcing market.
It’s my hope that Sylvest makes the entire process easier, safer, and more rewarding for fellow Sourcer’s like myself and for Investors who deserve clarity and confidence in every deal they consider!
